This stream comes to you from the west side of Statesville, North Carolina along the NS S-Line (MPS-30). This stream is 100% Norfolk Southern radio traffic. This stream covers Statesville, Spencer Yard, Oyama (Hickory), Charlotte and some areas south of Charlotte into South Carolina. When conditions are just right, the coverage area is much larger and includes Greensboro and Winston-Salem. Dispatchers normally heard are Charlotte North, Asheville District, Raleigh District and Danville District, but may include others. Spencer Yard (Linwood) and Charlotte Yard are easily heard.

For the time being the 100% CSX stream comes to you from the same location as the NS stream. The CSX stream location will change to Lenoir, North Carolina in the very near future. The move is being made to enhance the coverage of the CSX Blue Ridge Sub Division. The Blue Ridge is also covered by an ATCS scanner at the Lenoir location. More info can be found at the ATCS Webpage. Sorry, but I will be unable to answer questions about the ATCS scanner due to the fact that the audio scanner is a separate stream owned by me. The ATCS scanner is owned by and hosted by someone else. As soon as I'm able to provide a coverage area for this stream I'll post it here.

Welcome to the HUB OF THE CSX STREAM. This stream covers all operations of the CSX in and around Hamlet, NC including all yards, yard movements, Dispatchers, and all road channels. Hamlet Yard consists of Yard A for receiving, the Hump Yard for classification, Yard B for departures, and the Williams Yard for alll layover unit trains & storage. Dispatchers in the area consist of CSX AF, AD, AP, BC, and BE all located in Jacksonville, FL soon to be moved to Florence, SC. The road consists of AAR channels 32, 66, and 14. There are also 6 Subdivisions that come to Hamlet. They consist of the: Aberdeen Sub., Andrews Sub., Hamlet Sub., Hamlet Terminal Sub., Monroe Sub., and the Wilmington Sub.
